A Victorian-Inspired Shweshwe Skirt In The Making

I have designed this shweshwe skirt for a friend using some of the shweshwe fabric purchased from Shweshwe.net in South Africa and after some persuasion I agreed even though I am on a tight schedule. The skirt is a romantic style, Victorian inspired, has a gored panels, full cotton petticoat/ lining and and has white lace peeping from beneath, If she likes it she will order a bustier top to go with it. I will post more pictures once the skirt is complete.

I am a qualified fashion designer and run another blog which provides tips, information and advice on how where to study and how to choose a fashion design school its called Study Fashion With the Best Fashion Schools, check it out here.
